My husband has been on several cruises in his life. That seems to have been his mother’s choice of vacation as he and his sister were growing up. In contrast, I have never been on a cruise in my life. It is kind of ironic because both of my parents were in the Navy; I would have thought they liked being on the water. Since I don’t have any experience with cruises, I have always wanted to drive or fly to our vacation destination. However, my husband has been talking up cruises for so long that I have finally agreed to go on one. I am pretty excited about it. We have decided to do a Celebrity Cruise, and the other day, I actually came across one of the excellent online Celebrity Cruise deals that they were offering. We are going to save a lot of money on our vacation this year!

To make cruising even easier for you and to save you from the hassle of carrying money onboard, you will make use of Sign and Sail Account on your Carnival Cruise. For almost every purchase you will make on the ship, you will be charged on this account. To get this account, you don’t have to do anything except for filling out very brief paperwork. When you board the ship, you will receive this paperwork in your package. You will need to present your credit card, debit card, or cash while signing up for this account. Every passenger is required to carry his sign and sail card, for it is used to identify you as a passenger and it is also used as your room key. You should be very cautious with your card, because it is very easy to over-spend. You should place a daily restriction on childrens account and also, it is better to use cash when signing up for the account.
